As the founder of Twisted Road—and a lifelong rider obsessed with discovering the soul of a motorcycle—I get asked all the time: “What’s your favorite bike?”
And my answer is always the same: The next one I haven’t ridden yet.
That’s the magic of riding—every bike offers a different story, a new perspective, and a unique connection to the road.
This is why I’m ridiculously excited about one of our features that I use religiously: Saved Motorcycles, which we consider your motorcycle rental “wishlist.”
It’s basically a digital garage where you can bookmark all the bikes you’re dying to ride.
Think of it as your personal motorcycle wish list, organized exactly how you want.
Want to bookmark all the bikes you want to ride around Los Angeles? How about Las Vegas?
Easy.
Want to build a list of naked bikes under $100/day? Go for it.
Or maybe you’re like me and just need a running list of two-wheeled machines that are begging for throttle time.
Here’s how it works:
-
Log in to your account
-
Head over to your Dashboard and look for the section labeled “Saved Motorcycles.”
-
-
Click "Create List"
-
You can name your list anything you want. I’ve seen riders use names like:
-
“Dream Bikes for Colorado”
-
“Sportbikes Under $100/Day”
-
“Vintage Iron I Must Ride”
-
“Cruisers for a Cross-Country Haul”
-
Or, like me: “Bikes I Need to Ride.”
-
-
-
Start Saving
-
When you’re browsing any listing on Twisted Road, just click the heart icon next to the bike. Then select which list you want to drop it into. Done.
-
If you don’t have a list created yet, you can also simply click the heart icon by any bike, and you’ll be asked to create a list. In other words, you don’t need an existing list to be created when you heart your first bike
It’s fast. It’s fun. And it gives me an excuse to daydream about what’s next.
My Personal Dream List: Bikes I Need to Ride
Here’s a peek inside my list—a running log of motorcycles I’ve saved from all over the country.
Some are iconic. Some are quirky. But all of them are calling my name.
Also, take notice that some are more than 20 years old! Rider's Share doesn't allow anything older than 20 to be rented on its platform. That takes much fun out of experiencing kick-ass bikes.

Why You Should Use It
The "Saved Motorcycles" feature is more than just a bookmark tool. It’s your planning board. Your road map. Your dream board.
Whether you’re plotting next season’s big trip, tracking down your next favorite ride, or just looking for inspiration, it helps you keep tabs on what excites you.
It’s also a killer way to organize future rentals by destination. If I’m heading to San Diego, I already have a list of bikes waiting. If I want to rent something wild in Vegas or classy in New England? Just open the list, click, and ride.
So go ahead—build your dream garage. You’ve already got the keys.
See you out there,
Austin
