Las Vegas has a typical desert climate; it’s hot as blazes in the summer (averaging around 105 in July, its hottest month), and gets down near freezing overnight in December when temps are coolest.

As always, it’s important to ride safely. In Las Vegas, that means watching out for things like potholes, distracted drivers (also intoxicated drivers, especially at night), and cars turning from the middle lane.
Parking in areas other than the strip is plentiful and often free for bikes, but parking on the strip—at least on the street—can be a little more limited. Many of the casinos have designated motorcycle parking areas, like the Luxor and the Venetian, where bike parking is free. Most will also let you park your bike yourself, though some are valet-only.
Preparing For Your Rental
Because Las Vegas has such a hot climate much of the year, you’ll want to bring protective but well-ventilated clothing if you visit in the spring or summer months. If you’ll be there in the fall or winter, you’ll want to bring gear that will keep you warm in the high 30s to low 60s range. Bringing layers is always a good idea—that way, you'll be prepared for temperature fluctuations.
