Motor City Gas

Motor City Gas is a whiskey distillery that's open for indoor service as well as carryout. Think grain and malt whiskies, Bourbons, alternative heirlooms styles, and even moonshine made the old-fashioned way, in small batches—up to 20 different styles at a time. Stay and enjoy something from the seasonal cocktail menu or take a bottle home.

Slow's Bar B.Q.

This local and tourist favorite opened in 2005 and have been putting a gourmet spin on all things BBQ ever since. Sandwiches, slabs, mac-n-cheese, beans, wings, and potatoes fried, waffled, and mashed all fit for a feast at this Detroit "pit" stop. Plus, you know any place that has a dish called "The Hot Mess" knows how to fill a plate worth chowing down on.

Grandma Bobs

Just reading the menu and this local pizza joint is making us drool. Their pizzas are baked to crispy perfection with toppings from good ol' pepperoni and sausage to wild-caught lobster and herb creme fraîche. They have gluten-free and vegan options, boozy milkshakes, and refreshing cocktails to wash it all down.
