It’s around a 100-mile stretch running southwest alongside the picturesque Illinois River, passing by amazing sandstone bluffs and rugged canyons, a great escape into nature's beauty away from the urban hustle.

Lake Michigan Circle Tour

Are you a long-distance rider that’s ready for something epic and unique? Check out the Lake Michigan Circle Tour. Stretching over 1,100 miles along the shores of Lake Michigan across four states—Illinois included—it’s quite a trek. 

Many recommend starting from Chicago's bustling streets via Lake Shore Drive, which takes you past picturesque small towns and serene spots such as Illinois Beach State Park and North Point Marina.

Great River Road Along the Mississippi River

The Great River Road offers a fantastic option for anyone wanting a long ride. 

This route shadows the Mississippi as it winds from Minnesota down into Louisiana. Traveling through western Illinois on this scenic motorcycle path means enjoying breathtaking vistas of both the river and countryside.

Shawnee National Forest
