When I first learned how to ride a motorcycle, I was in heaven. I loved the freedom, independence, and solitude that came with being on two wheels. I yearned to meet fellow riders, to learn from them and share these experiences. However, when I googled “motorcycle events near me,” I was let down. There wasn’t a central location where I could easily search motorcycle rallies, rides, and events. Anywhere.
So we decided to build one.
The new events function has two primary features:
- Search existing events
- Add an event to the database so others can find it and attend
1. Search Existing Motorcycle Events & Rallies
With Twisted Road, it’s now easy to find a motorcycle event near you, or even better, find one when you travel. Going to Los Angeles? You can search for motorcycle events in and around the LA area. Vegas? Easy. Find motorcycle rallies and more in Las Vegas, during the dates you'll be there. Orlando? Denver? Well, you get the idea.
Here’s how it works.
First, go to www.twistedroad.com/events, or just go to www.twistedroad.com and click the “Events” menu under “About”
Once you’ve done this, you’ll be taken to our events page. At this point, just type in the location to see events in that area. You can also include a date range, and select the type of event, but these two criteria are optional.
Once you’ve entered the location and hit the Search button, you will see another screen with the upcoming events. In the example below, I searched in Los Angeles. You’ll see that this page is divided into two parts—the left side lists the various events, and the right side shows the event locations.
Next, just click into any of these events to see more information about it. In this example, I’ve clicked the Vintage Bike OC Meetup. The resulting screen has detailed information about this event, including hours and location, a description of the event, and the contact email of the person organizing the event.

2. Add a Motorcycle Event to our Community Listings
Holding a motorcycle event and want the world to know? This is the place to post it. Just click the button “Post Event” on the Events Page.
Once you click that button, you’ll be taken to another page where you can enter the event details. Just enter all relevant information, and submit it to our team for review. Easy.
I hope that our events portal will help you notify the motorcycle community about your upcoming motorcycle rides, rallies, and events, and will also help you find events to attend the next time you decide to search for “motorcycle events near me.”
