How long have you been riding, which bikes have you owned, and how did you become interested in riding?
I've been riding for 35 years. I've owned several BMWs, Ducatis, Guzzis, and Yamahas.
Seeing motorcycles escorting bicycle races in which I was competing got me interested.
What moto trips have you taken (long or short). Where did you go, stay and explore? Tell us some highlights.
I've taken many trips out of Oregon throughout the West Coast and Rocky Mountains, BC Canada, once to Daytona, FL and back, a week in Austria, and a week in Germany.
As a previous backpacker and bicycle-tourer, moto-touring has been my primary interest since I got my first motorcycle.
What hobbies do you enjoy when you're not riding?
Motorcycle repair and maintenance, motorcycle restoration, talking with motorcyclists, and trying to prevent my five cats from peeing on my motorcycles.
What do you enjoy about being part of the Twisted Road community?
I enjoy helping other riders by letting them use my bike. Also, offering advice and directions.

What are your favorite rides near your hometown?
Shaniko, Fossil, Ukiah, Sumpter, Dallas, Newport, Olney, Isle of Vashon are all great spots in Oregon to ride and explore.
What location is on your moto trip bucket list?
Sturgis SD — OUTSIDE of the big, annual event. Riding north and east from Oregon to Alaska, across the Bering Sea to Siberia, and all the way west to England. Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico.
