Tell us about your riding experience. How long have you been riding, and how many bikes have you owned? How did you first become interested in riding?
I have been around motorcycles since birth. I’ve never owned a dirt bike or anything like a motorcycle until I was 12 years old. My mother bought me a Razor electric motorcycle that went maybe 12-15mph downhill, LOL. I sold my 2018 Honda Civic in July of 2019 because I wanted to get out of a car loan and I really wanted to start riding motorcycles. My first motorcycle was a 2000 Suzuki SV650 (34k miles) with a full M4 exhaust, and a track style set-up. I sold that motorcycle in January 2020 (40k miles) to use the money to help others.
Based on the scripture Matthew 19:21-25 & 29 21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. *For more inspiring Scripture, see below.
Two months later, (March, 2020) I was able to buy my 2013 Aprilia Shiver SL 750 and have been riding it since. My Dad originally fueled my passion for motorcycles, because he and his friends rode motorcycles passionately and it looked so cool! I loved the sound, the smell of burned rubber and the community of people that got together. As I grew older my passion for motorcycles increased, because I saw motorcycling as a catalyst to build community and share life with others. In 2015, I had a vision to start a motorcycle ministry and that is what jump started me to get my endorsement and sell my car to at least start riding motorcycles.

Have you taken any long moto trips? Tell us about them - where did you go, where did you stay, who did you ride with?
The longest motorcycles trip I’ve taken has been from Charlotte, NC to Lineville Falls. This was a 2-hour, quick trip that I rode on June 24th, 2020. I plan to take a big trip at some point. Maybe from NC to somewhere out West.
Tell us some more about you - where do you live? What kind of work do you do?
I am 22 years old and originally from Cincinnati, OH. I lived there for 18 years. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I’m closest with my 23 year old brother and 20 year old sister. My oldest brother also rides motorcycles with me. My mother, sister and I moved to Lexington, NC in 2015 and then to Charlotte, NC so I could go to college—where we currently co-live together as roommates. I am a Pediatric Nursing Assistant at Bayada Home Health, with three semesters remaining to complete my Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at The University of North Carolina Charlotte.
My family and I have a Nursing and Nannying business called “Nurses and Nannies”. This is something that we just started and is in the works. I am also apart of a health and wellness business by the name of Total Life changes. I chose to be a part of Twisted Road because I have a dream to have multiple vehicles and motorcycles and to rent them out and share them with others. Twisted Road has a platform that can help me fulfill my dream.
What are your hobbies - what do you enjoy doing when you're not riding?
My new hobbies are: golfing, riding bicycles, and RUNNING! Honestly I do a bit of everything. I like to camp, fish, hike, visit the mountains and the beach (because they are a lot more accessible in the Carolinas), and mentoring others (especially kids).
Tell us about your experiences with Twisted Road - as either an owner, as a rider, or both. What do you enjoy most about being part of our community?
Being an owner of a motorcycle listed on Twisted Road is a lot of fun. I get to share my motorcycles with others and create memories. I had one renter that came from Erie, PA to Charlotte to rent my motorcycle so that he could ride to Asheville,NC to retrieve his brothers ashes and then strapped them to the back of my motorcycle so that he could take his brother on a ride that they were supposed to do before he passed away.
Another renter rented my motorcycle for Father’s Day and he said it meant so much to him that he could get away on Father’s day to enjoy being alone for a little, because he sold his motorcycle and really missed riding. The motorcycle is only a catalyst to help others in many different ways and thats what I enjoy most about my experiences with Twisted Road. I have yet to rent another motorcycle on Twisted Road. I want to, but most of the prices are out of my budget. I hope to soon rent out another motorcycle, I may try when I go back to Cincinnati, OH next weekend!

What are your favorite rides near your hometown?
I LOVE the twisty, curvey, windy roads. So, I go to Crowders Mountain State Park and practice my riding there. It is about 40 minutes away and I like to roam around the NC/SC border because it is less traffic with more back roads that have some fun roads. My new favorite route is Highway 181 in NC and up around the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Last question - where do you hope to ride one day?
I hope to ride to Phantom Lake, in Wyoming one day. I knew nothing about this place until I watched the Netflix show “Phantom Lake”. Naked bikes have my heart, but I’m really looking forward to getting into adventure riding!

*23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?“ 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[a] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.“).
